Dating Online Can Be Tough For Men
Although dating online can be much easier than conventional dating in the "real" world, there are still a few challenges present in online dating… especially for men. Typically on most internet dating sites, there is a far greater ratio of the number of men compared to women. This equates to more competition for the men vying for fewer women. Also, men usually have to make all the first "moves" or approaches to women. However, there is a way to turn these things around and have them go in your favour.
It is true that you will have much competition from other men, and the number of women available to you will be comparatively smaller. This can actually be a huge advantage to you. See, most women will be "approached" by guys using the same old lame pick up lines and profiles… this just comes out as boring, predictable and stupid. This is where you can stand out from the crowd by producing a unique profile and email messages that other guys AREN’T using.
The other disadvantage for guys is that traditionally we have to be the ones that approach the women, and not the other way around. This is a big stumbling block for a lot of men because we fear rejection. The way around this is to come up with a killer profile that makes you stand out from the crowd (simply check out all the profiles from the men and do the opposite to what they are doing). If you get this part right, you will have a lot of interested women approaching and contacting you. This saves you from having to do all the approaching, and saves you from the humiliation of rejection.
As you can see, dating online needn’t be that tough for guys as long as you take a few steps to increase your effectiveness. Keep tweaking your profile and emails as required to increase your success and you will never look back.
